Koštana gustina II deo – vibracioni trening
Prema mišljenju Harolda Frosta (1997), preduslov za nastanak osteoporoze je poremećaj receptora za mehaničko naprezanje u kostima – mehanostata, koji izmedju ostalog utiče i na proces mineralizacije kosti.
Utvrdjeno je da se mehanostat može uspešno stimulisati i vibracionim stimulansom. Eksperimentalno su utvrdjena dva načina uticaja na koštanu gustinu vibracijama:
- jedan je primenom visoke frekvencije i male amplitude koja stimuliše direktno kost (Rubin et al., 2002a, b; Ward et al., 2004; Rubin et al., 2004)
- drugi je indirektan, stimulacijom mišića vibracijama velike amplitude koji potom fiziološki stimulišu koštani sistem (Flieger et al., 1998; Verschueren et al., 2004; Rittweger & Felsenberg, 2004)
Kontrolisana i dozirana vibraciona terapija uz dodatak ostalih metoda treninga se značajno suprotstavlja osteoporozi.
